According to an old legend, Blatten is the village of the witches. The legend tells the story of a witch who supposedly haunted the region. Vero, the nice Belalp witch, guides children through various activities. A treasure hunt can be picked up at the tourist information office and will take you through the village and up on the Belalp mountain. This treasure hunt is available in German, English and French.
